Community Pop-Up Studio

"The Lord told Moses, 'Look, I've called . . . and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and all kinds of craftsmanship. . . .'"  Exodus 31:1-3 (ISV)

HECC is pleased to support the visual and pastural arts by providing meeting facilities for the "Community Pop-up Studio for Practicing the Pastoral Arts," a soulful mixed media approach to doing, making, and creating something with our spiritual lives.  Art is powerful, freeing, empowering and healing. While we are not all artists in the sense of technical skills, we are all inspired by the beauty, color, and magic of art.

pattison-with-art-450x2531Says founder The Rev. Ruth Pattison: “This is

the approach I enjoy taking with pastoral care and parish programming. In the studio, we can find the kingdom of God within, and our own selves will be revealed in the process. The studio offers adventures in writing, praying, grieving and playing.”
