Spanish Eucharist

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)

Several years ago, Highpoint Episcopal Community Church ("HECC") inaugurated a Spanish-language Eucharist at 5 p.m. on Sundays. The Rev. Antonio Brito is HECC’s part-time associate rector for Hispanic ministry, leads the worship service (known as "Our Lady of Guadalupe") and the large community of worshipers that gathers for it.

There is an enormous opportunity for outreach to members of the Spanish-speaking community in Sandy Springs, with over 19,000 Spanish-speaking persons living within a 10-mile stretch along Roswell Road.   HECC is proud to be part of that ministry.
